28) An Ode to Mother Nature
Why did you let this disaster occur?
Why do you let so many innocents suffer?
Why played you this twist of fate so cruel?
Why have you imposed on them a fight for survival?
Mother Nature you are called with respect and love,
And love & blessings on the Earthlings you
bestow,
In your lap the wounded souls solace find,
In your presence their sorrows they leave behind.
As your children we look to you with hope,
To care for us and give us strength to cope,
To share our joys and wipe our tears,
To cuddle us and banish away our fears.
Generally you manage it all so well,
Magically of almost every soul you take care,
Love us, nourish us, help us live and evolve,
Forgive us with a big heart for our mistakes all.
Again as a mother would you chid us sometimes,
Rightfully punish us for our careless crimes,
Once in a while you show us your furious face,
But then also ensure that everything falls back in
place.
But this time all this too far you have stretched,
Overdone you have this sentence of death,
Killed ruthlessly so many thousands you have,
Please stop this carnage I beg of you now.
I have no idea of what is your plan,
But it is high time now your fury you calm,
Show some mercy and forgive all too,
Severe trauma they have already been through.
A heartfelt request, the last one,
Help heal the physical and emotional damage done,
And those whom you have taken back within you please,
Take care of them and let them rest in peace.
